Privacy policy

iMovers Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. We hold ourselves to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Booking details: addresses, move size, preferred date, access notes.
• Contact details: name, email, phone number.
• Payment data: processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
• Operational logs: IP address, browser, page paths, retained for 30 days for security.

How we use it

• To deliver the move you booked, including sharing the necessary information with the assigned partner.
• To send transactional emails about your booking.
• To respond to your support questions.
• To improve our service in aggregate.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails without explicit opt-in.

Retention

We keep booking records for seven years to comply with UK accounting law. You can request earlier deletion of contact data by emailing privacy@imovers.co.uk, we'll delete or pseudonymise anything that isn't required for legal retention.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection. Email us at privacy@imovers.co.uk and we'll respond within one calendar month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
